This agreement will provide access to real practice to the students while they are working with OMIap and OMIap Web Edition (its technological evolution). This way, the University will add to its learning plan the use of information systems that students will work with during their future clinical practice.

This system will connect Health Centers with chemist’s in order to report physicians’ prescriptions. Chronic patients will not need to go to the health center to get the prescriptions, so this will avoid long waits and a lot of printed prescriptions. This will clear health centers and there will be more time to attend other patients that really needs it. This system allows managing appointments, a schedule for each professional, and improves the attention offered to the users that come to your centre.

The user can ask for an appointment directly in the centre, by phone or via web, and this system manages all the appointment process, that is, the user comes to the centre, goes to the waiting room, is seen by the doctor and leaves the centre with or without a new appointment.

It’s possible to define several formulas for a single ICPC (International Classification of Primary Care). OMIap evaluates each formula and offers the possibility of creating or closing an ICPC according to the results of each formula.

These formulas are defined by conditions (PGD –Patient’s General Data, gender, age, ICPC) and operators (true/false, higher/lower, …)
